Prior to joining Marvin Johnson in June of 2021, Jon spent 13 years at Cummins Inc. in Columbus, IN. While at Cummins, Jon advanced through numerous roles in Human Resources before electing for a career change in the insurance business. A graduate of Trine University in Angola, IN, Jon was a member of Trine’s football program and is currently an active member of the School of Business Advisory Board.
Originally from Indianapolis, Jon and his wife Stephanie moved from Indianapolis to Columbus in 2013 to reduce his work commute and spend more time with his young, growing family.
The most important aspects of Jon’s life are his family. He loves watching and often coaching his three daughters’ numerous athletics teams. In his free time, Jon enjoys dates with his wife, playing basketball, golfing, family vacations, home improvement projects, and watching sporting events, particularly Notre Dame, the Indianapolis Colts, and the Pacers.
Jon is currently a member of the Indiana Motor Truck Association, Ohio Trucking Association, Illinois Trucking Association, and the Motor Carrier Insurance Education Foundation (MCIEF).
