Bachelor’s in Business Administration from Ashland University
Rick earned his degree from Ashland University in 1982 and upon graduating began a career in management with Bob Evans Farms, Inc. Rick entered the trucking insurance business in 2003 with an agency in Ohio and came to work for Marvin Johnson & Associates, Inc. in 2009. Rick works out of the Ohio office and specializes in mid to large sized fleets. He is a member of the Ohio Trucking Association. Rick resides in Fairlawn, OH.
Rick enjoys spending time outdoors biking, hiking, and going to concerts. He also enjoys watching Ohio State Buckeyes games. Rick values spending time with his wife and 4 daughters, who are the most important people in his life. He is also an avid tennis player and competes in the USTA tennis league every year and has made it to the state championships twice in the last 7 years! His greatest goal is to witness his children achieve success and find the happiness that comes from building their own families and enjoying their chosen careers.
Rick is one of 3 employees that works in the Ohio branch of MJAI. He chose a career in insurance to help people protect their businesses. Before joining the MJAI team, Rick gained experience working for a different trucking agency. He has been with MJAI since 2009 and hopes to help all of his customers achieve the success that they desire.
