Kevin met his wife, Kate, at church at Eastern Illinois University. After their first date, he knew that he wanted to marry her and move to her hometown of Columbus, Indiana to start their lives together. Kevin enjoys spending time with his wife and their four children. He loves reading all sorts of novels by authors such as Tom Clancy, Jack Carr, J. R. R. Tolkien, and C.S Lewis. He has also spent many years training and competing in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. One of Kevin’s most important goals in life is to sacrifice and provide for his family, love his wife more than he loves himself, and to raise God-fearing children.
Kevin has been working at Marvin Johnson and Associates since February of 2022. After moving to Columbus, Kevin took a position in the construction industry. While working in the construction industry for 5 years, Kevin realized that the world of safety was not only something that he enjoyed, but something that would be better for his family and physical health. After pursuing various certifications covering general industry, construction, shipyard and transportation, his resume landed in the right hands at Marvin Johnson and Associates, leading him to make the optimistic shift to a career in transportation safety. His favorite thing about the company is the family atmosphere and structure. He aims to continue to increase his knowledge in DOT/FMCSA regulations.
