Wayne enjoys spending his time scouting new places to take his wife of 35 years for dinner, or spending time with their 7 grandchildren. His family is the most important aspect of his life and he loves seeing them grow and explore new horizons every day. His grandchildren call him “FunPa”, which is well-earned through his effort to always find new and exciting things to do with his grandchildren, including swim parties and barbeques in the summertime. Wayne believes that the most valuable resource he can give to his friends and family is his time, which is shown through his and his wife’s dedication to spend time with their children and grandchildren every chance they get. Wayne also enjoys watching Sci-Fi shows, doing woodworking projects, and making wood-related items for his wife’s crafting hobby. He aims to get back on track with his physical fitness journey, as well as get more involved with his local VFW, American Legion, and Fraternal Order of Police associations to help further their community outreach programs.
Wayne chose to pursue a career with MJAI to continue working in the Commercial Vehicle Compliance Industry. After serving 20 years with the Indiana State Police, as well as other industry-related occupations, he wanted to put his enforcement experience towards helping drivers and Motor Carrier Companies with regulatory compliance. He also worked as a road truck driver and relates to the driver concerns surrounding the nuances of CMV regulatory requirements, motivating him to help them with a career at MJAI. Wayne has worked with the company since 2014 and believes that MJAI and JWI are truly a family and that the office culture is the best that he has experienced. He aims to formalize his specialized Safety Director Training Program into an all-encompassing resource that can be duplicated by other Senior Safety & Loss Control Representatives.
